The Grove

During my most recent visit to O’ahu, I  was lucky enough to be taken to The Grove, a lovely little restaurant  in  the Kailua neighborhood. Award winning Chef Fred DeAngelo  has put together an amazing team at The Grove, and I know it will be a huge success.  This family friendly restaurant focuses on innovative ways  to create dishes featuring  fresh locally grown produce from big name local producers such as  Dean’s Nalo greens  from Nalo Farms in Waimanalo , specialty tomatoes, Japanese Cucumbers, squash and long beans from Ho Farms (food safety certified by the state of Hawaii) on the North Shore, fresh pork from  Shinsato Farms  and Hamakua Mushrooms grown on the Big Island(watch for upcoming blog post about my visit there). For foodies  who appreciate the farm to table experience,  you will love eating at The Grove with wonderful menu items such as  one of my favorites – MAHI’AI  Salad (featuring Dean’s Nalo Greens, Hau’ula Tomato with Creamy Maui Onion Dressing )  I could have eaten that alone for my meal, mouth watering delicious. In addition to a wonderful  menu, they have an extensive wine list to pair with your entree choice. If that is not enough – save room for dessert !

Fun atmosphere at The Grove

The Grove would be a wonderful choice for your special event such as wedding rehearsal dinner or other special event.
