The New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel, Waikiki, Unveils $1.5 Million Renovations Sep 08

THE NEW OTANI KAIMANA BEACH HOTEL UNVEILS ITS RENOVATED OCEAN ROOMS, OFFERING FREE INTERNET ACCESS FOR ALL HOTEL GUESTS.


Known as the “quiet escape from Waikiki”, The New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel unveils its 1.5 million dollar renovations, completing full upgrades to its Ocean View Superior and Ocean Front Superior categories.   Local architect, Pacific Asia Design Group (Honolulu, Hawaii) collaborated with designer, Studio M (Kyoto, Japan), and construction by Pankow, transformed the existing casual contemporary rooms to an upscale, chic, interior design that reflect a stylish fresh feel, with granite tops, deep brown textures, with cool blue and green accents.


Yoshio Shibata and Masoyo Maeda of Studio M, recently designed all newly renovated rooms in Hotel New Otani Tokyo, Hotel New Otani Chang Fu Gong in Beijing, along with reconstruction of the banquet rooms for the Hotel New Otani Hotel Osaka.


Hotel guests will be treated to magnificent picturesque views of Pacific Ocean and the Waikiki skyline, private lanais, COMPLIMENTARY high speed wireless internet access, L’Occitane toiletries, flat screen high definition television, upscale furnishings, and much more.  The hotel is also implementing eco friendly initiatives, such as LED bulbs for all recessed lighting, and energy efficient sliding lanai doors, with sensors that automatically shut off the AC unit in the room when the doors are opened.


This boutique property is proud to be home to two wonderful, oceanfront restaurants; our award winning, open air Hau Tree Lanai restaurant, and our authentic and traditional, Miyako Japanese restaurant.
